Welcome to the Official Website of the
Kick for a Cure Soccer Tournament & Festival
to benefit children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
Please join us on JUNE 21 & 22, 2008 at
Westview High School, San Diego for our Third Annual Event!

Divisions:
- Youth Boys: Club and Rec, U8 thru U16
- Youth Girls: Club and Rec, U8 thru U16
- Youth Co-Ed: U6
- Adult Men, Women, Co-Ed
Open* (Advanced level)
- Adult Men, Women, Co-Ed
B* (Beginner and Intermediate levels)
- Men's 30+ and Women's 30+
- Men's 40+ and Women's 40+
* NOTE: Adult Co-Ed divisions are 7 v 7.

Format:
- 6 v 6 (12 players max per team)
- Minimum of 3 games
Gifts/
Prizes:
- Kick for a Cure event t-shirt for all players,
team managers and coaches
- Medals awarded to First, Second and Third

Kick for a Cure is more than just a soccer tournament. Whether

Kick for a Cure, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt
organization that is dedicated to raising funds to help
make a difference in the lives of children in San Diego and beyond
who live with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
DMD Facts:
- DMD is the most lethal genetic childhood
disorder
- DMD affects 1 in 3000 boys worldwide
- Those afflicted by DMD have a lifespan
of 16-25 years
- To date, there is NO CURE for DMD!!!
