On behalf of Duchenne San Diego and the Kick for a Cure Leadership Team please accept
my sincere thanks for participating in our 4th Annual Charity Soccer Tournament &
Festival to benefit Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
This year’s tournament was the smallest when measured by the number of teams that
played, but we all agree that it was the largest in terms of the heart and impact we
had on the community we wanted to reach. Several families whose loved ones live with
Duchenne came to volunteer, play in the FunZone, and watch the games. The spirit of fun
and good-will put smiles on their faces, and the support they all felt was priceless.
Please know that we truly appreciate your continued faith and belief in our Cause, and we look
forward to seeing you again next June!

Welcome to the official website of
the Kick for a Cure Soccer Tournament & Festival to benefit children with
Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Not
only is our aim to help this generation of children have longer lives, we will take part in making
sure that their everyday needs are met. We also want to help their families have the
most up to date knowledge of care, research information, and networking that will spark hope for each
family member to stay strong.
Besides being a soccer tournament, we want to emphasize that we are also a Festival.
There is more to the Kick for a Cure event than just
playing soccer. We have the FunZone, which accommodates
all ages, youths and adults. We have a Vendors Village for
shopping, as well as, a delicious range of food to choose from. So, bring the entire family as we have
something for everyone to enjoy.
Thank you for visiting our site and please join us on JUNE 5 & 6, 2010 at
Westview High School, San Diego for our Fourth Annual Event and be a part of something that
will make a difference in the lives of this generation of kids!
